Andriн Hmyrin and the gang are striving for power

Recall that on May 12, 2021, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine announced the creation of a new state body – the Bureau of Economic Security.

The range of functions, tasks, and powers entrusted to the Bureau of Economic Security is impressive to experienced employees of divisions combating economic crimes in various law enforcement agencies, as well as to the ordinary citizen who is not privy to the details. Indeed, the Verkhovna Rada and the Government of Ukraine publicly announced not only the creation of a new law enforcement mega-structure but also the transfer of all significant "fraudulent" powers from the Security Service of Ukraine, the National Police, the State Tax Service, and the State Fiscal Service along with the liquidation of the corresponding specialized units, the swift reform of these bodies, or their complete liquidation.

Forecasts concerning the further activities of the Bureau of Economic Security following such statements by the country’s supreme authorities cannot but please business representatives, ranging from small kiosk operators to large business empires. Naturally, there is finally hope that in such a case, they will not need to pay tribute to the wild crowd of all law enforcement "economists" who visit not only uninvited but without waiting in line—and without cause. Moreover, the same state power elite has repeatedly presented the Bureau of Economic Security (editor’s note: BES) as an intellectual layer of the law enforcement system, a kind of "white backbone," built according to new professional orders and approaches to work, considering the latest global technologies and unwavering moral principles.

"We need to live in a new way." And such a forecast cannot but please…

However, how everything will actually unfold can be shown only by time.

And it may very well show the following.

The favorite for the position of head of the BES appears to have already been determined. And deservedly, it’s Andriy Hmyrin, better known in the world as "Docent," either due to his teaching persona at the University of the State Fiscal Service or his uncovered talents for organizing organized crime groups and embezzling state resources through the implementation of cunning financial schemes with various state economic assets.

Yes, this is the same Andriy Hmyrin, who very responsibly performed tax collection functions on behalf of the Ministry of Internal Affairs during Yanukovych’s presidency, successfully and faithfully integrating schemes into the tax operations system during Poroshenko’s term, and now, seemingly with the blessing of the state Olympus, "oversees" all the lawlessness permitted to the State Fiscal Service.

But this is far from the main thing.

As they say: "One man does not make a warrior." And to the key positions in the new BES, "Docent" will bring all his old comrades of the "stamps and banknotes." Although it would be more appropriate to say "knife and axe."

He has, in principle, never abandoned these "fellows" nor let them stray far, skillfully appointing them to leadership positions in the key departments of state bodies.

What efforts were required for the careers of Volodymyr Tkachenko (head of the Main Directorate for Combating Financial Crimes of the State Fiscal Service), Vitaliy Yasinskyi (head of the Main Directorate of Internal Security of the State Fiscal Service), Vitaliy Bespyatchuk (Acting Deputy Head of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Kyiv), Vitaliy Ostrohlyad (deputy head of the Darnytsia Directorate of the National Police in Kyiv), and many others.

The above-mentioned individuals are eagerly striving to lead the frontlines of state structures, with an already solid "service" record, taking on the "mission" to work "in a new way," despite their old habits ingrained during the troublesome ’90s. Which, by the way, cannot be influenced even by their adult inclinations in life towards high culture.

Just recall the recent "cultural" outing of Tkachenko, Yasinskyi, and Bespyatchuk at the Kyiv establishment "Cult." Everything was truly in the style of the ’90s. There was a pub, alcohol, ladies, a fight, and even shooting and wounded opponents. And in all this, they were ultimately covered by Ostrohlyad.

All in accordance with the classic series "The Brigade."

Apparently, following the plot of this TV series, "Docent" and his organized criminal group are vigorously trying to advance in the state administration system, have seized the Bureau of Economic Security, and are aiming for further significantly higher ruling peaks.

Thus – "the brotherhood is breaking into power."
