Ukraine is already experiencing a budget deficit amid delays in Western assistance, but the authorities are still finding resources to cover the needs.
This was stated by Finance Minister Serhiy Marchenko during a telethon.
“We already see clear estimates for European assistance. The first 4.5 billion euros will be received in March, and we have also done everything necessary to receive assistance from the World Bank - 1.5 billion US dollars. These funds will allow us to cover the needs. We expect that we will be able to provide the first half of the year from these sources,” Marchenko said.
