Occupants dropped KAB-500 on Kurakhove: high-rise buildings destroyed, 16 people wounded

On the afternoon of March 3, Russian troops dropped a KAB-500 guided bomb on a residential area in Kurakhove, Donetsk region. According to preliminary information, 16 people were injured.

The impact damaged at least five apartment buildings. The victims were evacuated to the hospital, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine reported.

Relevant services were on site. The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko said that among the 16 wounded there are two children born in 2006 and 2009.

“This afternoon, the occupiers fired an aerial bomb at a five-story building... While we are beating the occupiers at the front, they continue to fight with civilians, they are fighting with children. There will certainly be an answer for these attacks. Both in international courts and on the battlefield,” he wrote Minister of Internal Affairs on his Telegram channel.

The Office of the Prosecutor General clarified that the enemy attacked Kurakhove at 14.35.

A pre-trial investigation has been launched into the violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
