Lviv city council official Oleh Handyn detained for bribery


An official of the Lviv City Council, Oleh Handyn, got burned for taking a bribe.

Local media reported this.

Law enforcement officers detained the head of the department for the protection of cultural heritage of the department for the protection of the historical environment of the city council, Oleh Handyn, for taking a bribe. He received $1,250 in bribes.

In total, Oleh Handyn received $2,000 in bribes. It is known that the official had to approve the accounting documentation for the architectural monument. Also, the official had to perform certain actions in the interests of the applicant during the trial of the case.
