On the night of April 1, Russian troops struck the Kharkiv region. The fire station was damaged.

According to rescuers, the strike hit a populated area in the region bordering the Russian Federation. One of the hits was in the fire department - the building was damaged.
“One of the hits was directly on the building of the fire and rescue unit. As a result of the shelling, a third of the fire station building was destroyed. In addition, the windows and gates of the façade, internal partitions and doors of the building were damaged,” the State Emergency Service wrote.
According to the service, 6 rescuers were on duty, none of them were injured. The staff posted photos of the aftermath.
