Occupants attack a dormitory near Poltava: number of victims increases


According to the head of the Poltava RMA, Philip Pronin, a local resident received life-threatening injuries. Another 12 people were injured as a result of the Russian missile.

As a result of a rocket attack on a hostel near Poltava on the evening of April 8, at least 12 people were injured and another resident was killed. This was announced by the head of the Poltava regional military administration, Philip Pronin.

Three children were among the wounded, the official said.

According to information from Suspilne, a missile fired from Russian territory hit a two-story family dormitory near Poltava, causing a fire. Other residential buildings in the surrounding area were also damaged.

To assist the victims, a headquarters has been set up at a local facility, where emergency services provide the necessary support. Specialized services are on site.

In addition, at night in the Poltava region, mobile fire groups shot down two Russian attack drones. No one was injured as a result of this enemy attack.
