Ukraine and Latvia signed a bilateral security agreement


President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and his Latvian counterpart Edgars Rinkēvičs signed a bilateral security agreement between our countries.

This was reported on the President’s Telegram channel .

According to the agreement:

Latvia will provide military assistance to Ukraine at 0.25% of GDP every year; Latvia makes a 10-year commitment to support our country in cyber defense, mine clearance and drone technology. It will also contribute to our accession to the European Union (EU) and NATO.

“Thank you to friendly Latvia! This is exactly the specificity and predictability that our struggle for freedom and independence needs,” the president added.
