Ukrainian men of mobilization age will not be able to obtain passports abroad


Men 18-60 years old will not be able to obtain a Ukrainian passport abroad - Cabinet of Ministers decree.

This was reported with reference to the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers .

Obtaining a passport of a citizen of Ukraine, a passport of a citizen of Ukraine for traveling abroad by a male citizen of Ukraine aged 18 to 60 years is carried out at the territorial body/territorial division of the State Customs Service.

Such passports are not forwarded to a separate unit or foreign diplomatic institution of Ukraine to organize their issuance."

However, there are exceptions to the new rule. Passports will continue to be issued to a number of individuals, namely: - persons with disabilities who have documents confirming their status, - persons who traveled as accompanying their wife with a disability or their parents or their wife’s parents with a disability of group 1-2, - persons caring for disabled people of group 1 or 2, - parents, adoptive parents or guardians of children with disabilities under 18 years of age, - parents of adults with disabilities of groups 1-2, - grandfathers, brothers, stepfathers of children with disabilities, - guardians of persons with disabilities from among 1st order relatives, - persons who have children with diseases requiring medical intervention abroad.
