Tomorrow, May 2, Odesa schoolchildren will switch to distance learning.
The director of the department, Olena Buinevych, spoke about this, reports the local Telegram channel “ Dumska”.
The municipal department of education and science and the regional military administration recommended that Odesa schools conduct lessons online on May 2.
According to Buinevych, additional classes will be opened in schools at each parallel. As for kindergartens, they will work, but parents are asked to leave their children at home if possible.
Tomorrow marks 10 years since the incident on May 2, 2014 in Odesa. Then, as a result of clashes between Euromaidan supporters and supporters of the “Russian world,” 50 people died.
According to the official, given the manic attachment of the Russian occupiers to different dates, on May 2 the threat of shelling in Odesa will increase significantly.
