Ukrainian military warned of the threat of front collapse in the summer

Ukrainian Armed Forces officers fear the front line could collapse this summer after a major Russian offensive.

Politico writes about this.

High-ranking Ukrainian military officials, speaking on condition of anonymity, told the publication that, in their opinion, the front line will be broken in the summer after the Russian offensive, since the command of the Russian army is prepared for heavy losses, and the morale and determination of Ukrainian soldiers is weakened.

As former commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhnyi noted, the army needs a large number of soldiers. According to his assessment, Kyiv needs an additional 500 thousand military personnel.
