On the night of May 18, Russian occupiers attacked Ukraine with kamikaze drones. In particular, the Poltava region came under attack.
In one of the regions of the region, energy infrastructure was damaged as a result of the attack. This was announced by the head of the Poltava regional military administration, Philip Pronin.
“The Russians continue to attack the Poltava region. At night, enemy UAVs damaged the energy infrastructure in one of the districts of the Poltava region. There were no casualties,” he wrote.
Pronin did not specify whether we were talking about a direct hit or about the consequences of falling debris from downed “martyrs.” However, the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces previously stated that during the night battle they shot down all 13 drones with which Russia tried to attack our state. In addition to the Poltava region, they were destroyed over the Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Vinnytsia and Mykolaiv regions.
