In recent days, the Russian army has made some progress in the Kupyansk and Pokrovsk areas during attacks on the frontline. In particular, the occupiers allegedly seized the village of Umanske in the Pokrovsk district of Donetsk region.

“The enemy occupied Umanske and advanced into Ivanivka,” the message says.
The day before, in the evening report, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine noted that the hottest situation is in the Kharkiv, Kupyansk, Kramatorsk, Pokrovsk and Kurakhove directions. During the day, at 23:00, 110 military clashes were recorded at the front.
According to the command, there were 14 combat engagements in the Kupyansk sector, where Ivanivka is located. Defence forces successfully repelled enemy attacks in the areas of Sinkivka and Petropavlivka. Fighting was still ongoing near Myasozharivka, Druzhelyubivka and Nevske, and our soldiers inflicted losses on the enemy there.
In the Pokrovsk direction, where Umanskoye is located, during the day the enemy, in some places, with the support of aviation using CAB, carried out a total of 23 assaults. He attempted to increase significant fire control efforts along virtually the entire line of engagement.
Previously, in this direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces liquidated and wounded almost 200 invaders, shot down a Su-25 aircraft, destroyed three infantry fighting vehicles and three armored personnel carriers, and hit other equipment of the Russian troops.
It is noted that intense fighting continued at night in the Novoaleksandrovka area. The Defence Forces are taking measures to stabilize the situation.
