Ukraine’s use of German weapons to destroy Russian territory will not lead to escalation.
This was reported by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, quoted by DW.
“As the President of the United States of America (Joe Biden, head of the White House - Ed.) said, we are only talking about the ability to protect a big city, for example, Kharkiv,” the chancellor said.
Scholz said the decision to lift restrictions on the use of German weapons was carefully thought out in cooperation with Berlin’s "friends and allies." Moreover, the Chancellor assured that he would never allow pressure on him to make a “wrong decision.”
