Canada will send Ukraine 2,300 CRV7 missiles, armored vehicles, ammunition and Nanuk remote control systems.
This was announced by the head of the Ministry of Defence Bill Blair.
“Canada will provide Ukraine with 2.3 thousand Canadian CRV7 aircraft missiles. This weapon was previously used by the Royal Canadian Air Force. We have been testing these missiles for several months to ensure their effectiveness,” he said before the Ramstein-23 meeting.
The head of the Canadian Ministry of Defence did not specify when exactly the deliveries would be made.
Blair added that Canada will continue to test these missiles and, based on the test results, will send more of them to Ukraine.
In addition, Canada will send additional small arms ammunition, as well as 29 Nanuk remote control systems.
Also, according to the Minister of Defence, this week Canada will begin delivering 50 new Canadian armored vehicles to Ukraine.
