Russian army shelled the Izyum district at night: there are casualties


Last night, the Russian military shelled the village of Borivska Andriivka, Izium district, Kharkiv region, causing damage.

The head of the Kharkiv regional state administration, Oleh Syniehubov, said this in a telegram.

According to him, eight private houses in Druzhelyubivka village, Izyum district, were damaged by shelling.

In the village of Shyikivka, Izyum district, four private houses, outbuildings and a car were damaged by an air attack.

The village of Pisky Radkivski in Izium district also came under Russian shelling. Four houses and an ambulance were damaged. A 13-year-old boy, a woman and a man were injured.

At 23:50 in Kyivskyi district of Kharkiv one of the buildings of a children’s camp was damaged by a shell. There was no information about the victims.

On Monday, 17 June, at 02:30 in Borivska Andriivka village of Izyum district, a private household and outbuildings were damaged by shelling.

According to Syniehubov, 11,859 people have been evacuated from Chuhuiv, Kharkiv and Bohodukhiv districts since 10 May.

According to the head of the RMA, in the Kharkiv sector, Russian troops attacked five times in the area of Vovchansk. Three of the invaders’ assaults were repelled. Two firefights are still ongoing.

In the Kupyansk sector, Russians made four attempts to push Ukrainian defence forces from their positions in the areas of Synkivka, Stepova Novoselivka and Berestove. Two of the attacks were successfully repelled, and fighting continues near Synkivka and Stepova Novoselivka.
