On the night of June 22, Russian terrorists launched a missile attack on the Ivano-Frankivsk region. The enemy’s target was civilian infrastructure.
As a result of the attack, several buildings and other buildings of one of the educational institutions were partially destroyed. The head of the Ivano-Frankivsk regional military administration, Svitlana Onishchuk, reported this on Telegram .
In addition to the educational institution, damage was recorded in nearby houses after the shelling. In addition, there is destruction of residential buildings in one of the region’s communities. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties.
“Once again I urge all residents of the region to respond to air raid signals, take care of themselves and their families. Thanks to our sky defenders and all the defenders who are fighting for our future. And to all the services that help eliminate the consequences of an enemy attack,” wrote the head of the Air Force .
The press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported that as a result of a missile attack on the territory of a civilian educational institution, a fire occurred in the regional center. At the site of the shelling, a 20 sq.m crater with a fire was formed.
Rescuers also confirmed that one of the educational buildings was partially destroyed, while others were damaged. In addition, the State Emergency Service added that a passenger car was damaged.
