Night combined attack: Air defence forces shot down almost all enemy targets


On the night of June 27, Russian troops used air and sea-based missiles, as well as kamikaze drones, for another air attack on the territory of Ukraine. All enemy targets, except for the Kinzhal missile, were shot down by the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ air defence forces and means.

This was reported in the Telegram channel of the commander of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Mykola Oleshchuk.

He clarified that the enemy used the following for this night combined attack:

1 aeroballistic missile X-47 M2 "Dagger", which the occupiers launched from the airspace of the Tambov region, Russian Federation, 4 Kalibr cruise missiles launched from the north-eastern part of the Black Sea, 1 X-59/X-69 guided missile launched from the Kursk region, 23 attack drones of the Shahed-131/136 type, and the launch area was Primorsko-Akhtarsk.

Thus, when repelling an air attack, 28 targets were eliminated.

“As a result of the anti-aircraft battle, 28 air targets were shot down: 4 Kalibr cruise missiles, 1 X-59/X-69 guided aircraft missile and 23 Shahed-131/136 attack UAVs,” the general said.
