Over the past day, Russian troops fired 44 times at the border of Chernihiv and Sumy regions.

"Russian invaders continue to shell the border areas of Chernihiv and Sumy regions. In total, 44 attacks (178 explosions) were recorded during the day using various types of weapons," the statement said.
Thus, in the Chernihiv region, the enemy fired at the settlements of Karpovychi and Zarichchia in the Semenivska community. In the Snovska community, enemy fire was directed at the villages of Yelino and Khrinivka.
In Novhorod-Siverska community, the occupants fired on Mikhalchina Sloboda and Gremiak. An outbuilding was damaged.
In Sumy region, the enemy fired on the villages of Bilovody and Basivka in Sumy district. A private house was damaged. Pavlivka, Ugroydy, Loknya, Shpil, Yastrubyne, Bilopillya, Stepok and Slavgorod also came under artillery and drone attacks.
In Okhtyrka district, 16 explosions were recorded in Oleksandrivka, probably caused by an aerial explosive device, and 9 explosions caused by Russian mortars.
In Konotop district, the invaders shelled Boyaro-Lezhachi with 122 mm cannon artillery. A private house was damaged.
In the Shostka district, Romashkove, Znob-Novgorodske, Ulanove, Znob-Trubchevska, Progress, Khliborob, Bachivsk, Shalymivka, and Shalygino came under fire.
According to preliminary reports, the Russian army fired at them with mortars, cannon artillery, and drones.
A civilian was injured in Znob-Trubchevsk. A critical infrastructure facility in Znob-Novhorodske was also damaged.
