Defence forces hit 24 out of 27 shaheds at night


This night, the Ukrainian Defence Forces hit 24 of 27 Russian Shahed-type attack drones.

The commander of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Mykola Oleshchuk, announced this on Telegram .

According to him, on the night of July 6, the Russians launched a strike with 27 Shahed-131/136 attack UAVs from the temporarily occupied Crimea and the Kursk region.

Mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defence Forces, anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force, air defense of the Ground Forces, and electronic warfare units were involved in repelling the air attack.

The defenders of the skies managed to defeat 24 Shahed drones in Dnipro, Poltava, Zaporizhzhya, Kherson, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Sumy, Chernihiv, Vinnytsia, Kyiv, Kirovohrad and Mykolaiv regions.
