Russian troops targeted rescuers in Nikopol twice. They came to put out a house fire that arose after the shelling.
This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine .
“Yesterday evening (July 6, – ed.) the Russians attacked Nikopol. A fire broke out in a residential building. When rescuers were working on the spot, the enemy insidiously attacked them,” the message says.
As a result of the hit, a fire-rescue vehicle was damaged. The rescuers managed to take shelter.
Second strike
To transport rescuers and surviving equipment, a State Emergency Service truck moved to the scene of the incident.
“However, the enemy again launched a targeted strike, damaging the vehicle. Only during the next attempt were we able to evacuate the rescuers,” the State Emergency Service added.
