Ukraine convenes the UN Security Council because of today’s attack by the Russian Federation, - Zelenskyy


Ukraine is convening an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council due to a massive missile attack by the aggressor country Russia on Monday, July 8.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated this during a joint press conference with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk.

Thus, Zelenskyy said that Ukraine is convening the UN Security Council because of the Russian attack on civilian infrastructure, including the Okhmatdyt children’s hospital in Kyiv.

“Ukraine is now initiating the convening of an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council in connection with the Russian attack on civilian infrastructure, including a children’s hospital,” Zelenskyy said.
