As the offensive continued, the Russian military allegedly advanced in the area of Zalizne and near several other settlements. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 26 clashes took place in the Toretsk sector over the day.
The armed forces of the Russian Federation advanced near Toretsk, Donetsk region, in particular, within Zalizne. This was reported by analysts at the Institute for the Study of War in a daily report for July 31.
“On July 30, Russian troops advanced within Zalizne (southeast of Toretsk) while continuing offensive operations near Toretsk,” the report said.
According to geolocation footage from July 31, the Russian occupiers advanced within the northwestern and southwestern parts of Zalizne, the enemy allegedly captured most of the settlement.
According to Russian military officers, the Russian Armed Forces allegedly advanced to a depth of up to a kilometer near Zalizne, Pivdenne, near Druzhba, within New York.
Analysts said that during July 30 and 31, the enemy allegedly carried out assaults in Toretsk itself and near Panteleimonivka.
