Russian troops continue massive shelling of populated areas in the Donetsk region; due to the strikes, 12 people were injured over the past 24 hours, head of the regional military administration (RMA) Vadym Filashkin said on Wednesday morning.
"On 6 August, Russians wounded 12 residents of Donetsk region: 8 in Myrnohrad, 2 in Toretsk, 1 in Ukrainsk and Markove," he wrote on his telegram channel.
According to the RMA, 2122 residents have been killed and 5572 wounded since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion of the region.
The total number of Russian casualties in Donetsk region excludes Mariupol and Volnovakha.
