An ammunition warehouse burned down in occupied Crimea


In the occupied Crimea, near the villages of Leninske and Zoryane in the Chervonohvardiiskyi district, a warehouse with ammunition burned down on the evening of 6 August.

The fire broke out in a warehouse at the site of the temporary deployment of the 104th Guards Air Assault Division.

Due to the fire, it was necessary to block railway traffic from the Dzhankoy station to the Simferopol station (about 100 kilometers of track).

Burnt and detonated ammunition fragments fell near residential buildings in the villages of Zoryane, Leninske, Andriivka. No casualties are known. The occupation authorities did not comment on the situation; the exact causes of the fire are unknown.
