Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Defence Forces have eliminated and wounded about 1,220 Russian occupiers in combat clashes. As of today, the total losses of the Russian army personnel in the war amount to 595,620 people.
The defenders also destroyed about 200 units of military equipment and weapons of the enemy, as well as another aircraft of the invaders. The data as of August 15 was announced by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Thus, the day before, our soldiers neutralized 47 artillery systems (16,868 in total), 24 armored combat vehicles (16,426), eight tanks (8,484), three MLRS (1,154), and one air defence system (922) of the Russian Armed Forces.
In the sky, the defenders shot down two enemy cruise missiles (2,428 in total) and 50 operational-tactical level drones (13,598). The fighters also landed an aircraft (367) – it was a Russian Su-34 fighter-bomber that crashed in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation.
In addition, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed 65 vehicles and tankers (22,775 in total) of the occupiers.
Since the beginning of the full-scale war, the Russian army has suffered the following losses: minus 2813 units of special equipment, 328 helicopters, 28 ships/boats, and a submarine.
