The best Ukrainian tank "Oplot". These are the defenders of the Kharkov region - the Iron Brigade.
Defence Express noted that while the statement did not provide further details, the report was "valuable" as it was the first mention of the Oplot tank in the Defence Forces’ combat formations during the full-scale war against Russia.
BM Oplot is a modern Ukrainian main battle tank, created by the Kharkiv Machine-Building Design Bureau (KhKBM). It is a radical modernization of the T-84 Oplot tank and the newest representative of the T-84 tank series. It was accepted into service by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in 2009.
Despite years of government announcements about the purchase, as of 2021, the Ukrainian Armed Forces had only one tank. An export agreement was also concluded for the supply of 49 tanks in the Oplot-T version to Thailand.
