Massive UAV attack: Kyiv air defence shot down more than 10 drones


Kyiv’s air defense shot down more than ten Russian UAVs during a new large-scale attack by the Russian Federation on August 29. There were no casualties or injuries, KCMA reports .

It is indicated that the third air attack on the capital in the last four days lasted more than five hours. The Russians used only Shahed-type attack UAVs, which were launched from the occupied Kherson region and Kursk region of the Russian Federation.

As a result of the attack, drone debris fell in three districts of the capital. In the Holosiivskyi district - on the territory of a residential building. Windows and doors in an apartment building were preliminarily damaged.

In the Dniprovskyi district, debris fell on residential areas, but without any negative consequences, the KCMA notes. In the Desnyanskyi district, debris was found on the territory of a private household, a fire broke out in a non-residential building, which has already been extinguished.
