The Mayor of Odesa, Hennadiy Trukhanov, is a Russian citizen and, likely, received a Russian bank card on February 9, 2022 – just two weeks before the full-scale war began.
This was reported by a famous Ukrainian public figure and blogger Serhiy Sternenko.
"The Mayor of Odesa, Hennadiy Trukhanov, indeed has Russian citizenship. And, likely, was processing a Russian bank card right before the full-scale invasion, namely on February 9, 2022," Sternenko wrote today on his Telegram channel.
The activist published the corresponding documents, which, according to him, he obtained from leaked Russian databases.
"The information about the passport series and number, residence registration, and issuance date also matches the data previously published by Ukrainian journalists. Ukraine – a land of opportunities," Sternenko commented.
