In the temporarily occupied Berdyansk in the Zaporizhzhya region, a powerful explosion was heard at dawn on October 2. "Bavovna" occurred in the area of the city’s fish processing plant – near the port.
Details were reported by the head of the Berdyansk City Military Administration, Victoriya Halytsyna. According to her, a car exploded in the city.
"This morning, October 2, a powerful explosion occurred in the temporarily occupied Berdyansk. According to preliminary data, a car exploded in the Liski district. Residents of Berdyansk reported a loud sound and a large column of black smoke in the area of the fish processing plant. Firefighters and an ambulance arrived at the scene," she noted.
According to the information from the Telegram channel "Berdyansk Today," a very powerful explosion occurred around 6 a.m., approximately near the port, on Ukrainian Partisans Street.
"A car exploded in the yard, the neighboring house was damaged," the public quotes a message from one of the Berdyansk chats.
Other residents of Berdyansk claim that "a huge column of black smoke rose on the territory of the fish processing plant, towards Lisky."
Whose car exploded this morning, for what reason, and with what consequences – remains unknown for now. The occupiers, as usual, try to keep this situation quiet.
"The occupation authorities have not commented on the situation yet. This is a typical tactic of the occupiers, aimed at concealing the actual state of affairs from the local population and the global community. We urge the residents of Berdyansk to follow safety rules!" – addressed the residents of the occupied city, the head of Berdyansk CMA.
