The death of former deputy mayor of Dnipro Lysenko has been reclassified as murder, - Filatov

The Mayor of Dnipro, Borys Filatov, reported that the case of the death of former deputy Mykhailo Lysenko has been reclassified as murder.

"On Saturday, SSU officers from Kyiv came to Mykhailo with a search warrant. These were not ordinary officers, but representatives of a very important department. Lysenko and state security — this is still an open question. As I already wrote, he had previously undergone numerous searches, so it is obvious that he did not keep any money, documents, or mobile phones at home. Lysenko refused to let them in due to incorrect data in the court order. Then they blatantly threatened him, saying, ’We will correct the documents and come on Monday to destroy you.’ There are witnesses who can confirm this. Lysenko died on Sunday — driven to a heart attack," writes Filatov.

According to him, the cause of his former deputy’s death was recorded by doctors.

"And then there was interference in the work of the forensic examination and the opening of a criminal case. On charges of murder! Without any statements from the victims! Just based on the ’great public outcry’ and those dirty publications that law enforcement officers themselves spread in Telegram channels. Another search was conducted in the house of the now-deceased. They were looking for something unknown, and afterwards — again without a court decision — they tried to take his old phone. What this was supposed to prove is unknown," stated Filatov.

Earlier, the mayor of Dnipro accused representatives of law enforcement agencies of murdering his former deputy, Mykhailo Lysenko.
