The occupiers shelled Donetsk region: two civilians were killed, many injured


On October 12, Saturday, Russian occupation forces continued to shell settlements in the Donetsk region, terrorizing the civilian population. Due to enemy attacks, two people were killed, and another 10 were wounded.

This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General. On the road between the villages of Ulakly and Dachne in the Volnovakha district, an enemy FPV drone hit a civilian car, resulting in the death of a 19-year-old driver.

The Russian army also struck the settlement of Kurakhivka in the Pokrovsk district. As a result of this attack, an 84-year-old pensioner sustained injuries incompatible with life.

In the city of Selydove, two men and a woman were injured due to enemy strikes. In the city of Siversk, an occupant’s shell hit a private house. Two local residents, aged 23 and 25, suffered shrapnel wounds and mine-explosive injuries.

"According to preliminary data, the enemy was attacking settlements using artillery," the report stated.

The city of Myrnohrad was also under Russian attacks. There, a couple aged 50 and 55 received mine-explosive and shrapnel injuries in their house. Medical assistance was provided to the victims. Another three civilians, aged 46, 50, and 73, were injured in the settlement of Shevchenko.
