President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that he is heading to Brussels to present European leaders with a Victory Plan against the aggressor country, Russia.
“I am on my way to Brussels. A special meeting of the European Council will take place at the level of leaders. I will present the Victory Plan – our means to compel Russia to peace,” stated the Ukrainian leader.
Zelenskyy noted that all European leaders would be informed of Kyiv’s position on strengthening Ukrainian forces and the just conclusion of the war.
The President expressed gratitude to European Council President Charles Michel for the invitation for Ukraine. Zelenskyy plans to meet with European Parliament President Roberta Metsola and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.
“In addition, we are preparing for a meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Council at the level of defence ministers. The main goal is to strengthen Ukraine’s defence now, before winter,” emphasized the President.
