Among those released from captivity are National Guard members, naval servicemen, Armed Forces of Ukraine soldiers, border guards, and representatives from other units of the Security and Defence Forces.
The Coordination Headquarters also added that a considerable number of Ukrainians have returned home who had received so-called sentences from the judicial system of the aggressor country and were "convicted": 28 to long-term imprisonment, and 20 to life imprisonment for defending their own land from the aggressor.
Many of our released men suffer from serious illnesses and the consequences of severe injuries, as well as significant weight loss due to torture and inadequate nutrition.
