The invaders struck Nikopol with artillery: three people were injured


On October 23, Russian military forces conducted an artillery strike on Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region. As a result of the attack, three people were injured, and one of the wounded women was hospitalized.

This was reported in the afternoon on Wednesday by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk region, Serhiy Lysak. "Three people were injured in Nikopol, which was shelled with artillery," the message stated.

Shrapnel injuries were sustained by a 36-year-old man and women aged 60 and 78.

One of the victims was hospitalized in a state of moderate severity.

About a dozen and a half shops, apartment buildings, and vehicles were damaged in the city.

A pre-trial investigation has been launched in a criminal case on the violation of laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine), the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported.

The department added that prosecutors, in collaboration with other law enforcement agencies, are taking all possible and appropriate measures to document the war crimes of the Russian Federation’s army.
