The Ministry of Defence strives to provide the possibility of online deferment from conscription for all categories of servicemen who have the right to it.
In November this year, the feature to submit an application for deferment from conscription during mobilization will appear in the "Reserve+" mobile app. This feature will be available to three categories of individuals subject to military duty.
This was announced by Deputy Minister of Defence Kateryna Chernohorenko on Wednesday, November 6, on the "Army TV" YouTube channel.
According to her, deferment through the app will be available for:
people with disabilities; students and graduate students of full-time or dual studies; parents from large families.Chernohorenko emphasized the convenience of the deferment process: it is enough to log into the app, submit a request, and receive the deferment status, which will be integrated into the electronic military registration document.
The Ministry of Defence is making efforts to ensure the availability of online deferment applications for all categories of servicemen who are eligible. Thus, "Reserve+" is expected to become a full-fledged alternative to military enlistment offices.
