Prime Minister Shmyhal stated that almost all recipients of absentee summonses sent by mail are people who are not officially employed.
According to him, this corresponds to the principle "fight or work".
"As of today, 98% of the summonses issued, which are generated through the ’Oberih’ registry, are sent to people who do not pay any taxes and are not registered anywhere. Priority in mobilization is given to those who are unemployed and jobless. Thus, the foundation of this principle has already been implemented. Only 2% of the summonses over the past two months were sent to employed people," the Prime Minister stated at the Kyiv International Economic Forum.
It should be noted that in May of this year, the National Bank reported that more than 24,000 men in Ukraine are officially registered as unemployed.
