The Russian Federation attacked Odesa with "Shaheds": several high-rise buildings, administrative buildings, and cars were damaged


Russian troops attacked Odesa on the night of Friday, November 8, using Shahed-136 attack drones. Air defence forces were active in the city and region. As a result of the enemy attack, several multi-story and private buildings were damaged.

This was stated by the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper, on his Telegram channel. The Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine warned of a group of "Shaheds" heading from the Black Sea towards Odesa and the region.

"The enemy is attacking Odesa and the district with attack drones. Our air defence forces are working. Stay in shelters!" Kiper noted.

The Odesa City Council specified that as a result of the enemy attack, several multi-story buildings, houses in the private sector, administrative buildings, warehouses, and vehicles were damaged.

The information about the injured is being clarified.

Social media reported that Russian occupiers hit a residential complex in Odesa with a "Shahed," causing a fire.

Later, channels reported that firefighters extinguished the fire on the residential complex premises.
