In order to launch an offensive on Chasiv Yar, the enemy needs to build crossings over the canal, which is complicated due to active shelling.
Personnel units of the Russian occupation forces are gathering in the area of Chasiv Yar and Toretsk in the Donetsk region for a future attack. This was reported by the spokesperson of the operational-tactical group of troops "Luhansk", Anastasiya Bobovnikova, on the air of "Suspilne".
"Currently, we are talking about the presence of personnel units there, manned by contract soldiers and they are well-equipped. They are capable of bringing in reserves, personnel, and unfortunately, they have a high level of supply," she noted.
The enemy currently does not have the capability to launch an offensive on Chasiv Yar using equipment. For this, they need to build crossings over the canal, which is complicated due to active shelling, Bobovnikova explained.
She added that the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to keep this canal under the close control of artillery.
According to the spokesperson of the operational-tactical group of troops "Luhansk", the number of assaults on the Toretsk direction has decreased, and the nature of the attacks has changed.
