41 senior officers were discharged to the reserve due to the Medical Commission


During the period of full-scale war, 41 senior officers were sent to reserve through the Military Medical Commission.

This information covers the period from February 24, 2022, to August 1, 2024, as reported to Radio Svoboda by the main communications department of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to the decisions of the Military Medical Commission, those demobilized from military service included former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhnyi, former Chief of the General Staff Serhii Shaptala, former Commander of the Medical Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Tetyana Ostashchenko, and former Commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yuriy Sodol.
