Emergency power outages canceled: strict hourly schedules introduced

On November 28, electricity shutdowns were canceled in Ukraine, which were implemented due to a massive attack by the Russian Federation on energy facilities.

All regions returned to scheduled power outages but the regime became more stringent – three consumer groups are now shut off simultaneously. Thus, for example, in Kyiv, consumers will be without power for 7 hours in a row, twice a day.

This was reported by "Ukrenergo". "All consumers are returning to scheduled power outages," the report says.

Shortly after, energy workers clarified that three shifts of residential consumers will be cut off simultaneously until the end of the day. "The reason for the temporary tightening of restrictions is damage to energy facilities during the massive missile and drone attack on November 28. The energy workers are working to restore the equipment damaged by the enemy as soon as possible," the company explained.

It is not ruled out that the time and volume of restrictions may still change. "You can find out the latest information about the shutdown schedules in your region on the website or the official pages of the regional energy companies in social networks," they added in "Ukrenergo."

The company reminded that they only determine the number of shifts that need to be disconnected. The actual shutdown schedules for each individual shift are already being prepared by the regional energy companies.

In particular, energy company DTEK published updated schedules for Kyiv and the Kyiv region. The maximum time without electricity has increased to 7 hours in a row, meaning so-called gray areas of disconnection have been involved.

In Odesa and the region, the maximum duration of the outage for one group will be 6 hours. In the Dnipropetrovsk region, it will be 7 hours.

In the Ternopil region, where energy facilities were severely damaged during the previous attack by the Russian Federation, scheduled power outages were also reinstated. According to the " Ternopiloblenergo ," electricity supply limits are planned during the following hours:
