President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy updated the composition of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief’s Staff.
The head of the State Service of Special Communications, Oleksandr Potiy, was included. This became known from the decree of the head of the Ukrainian state.
"To include in the personal composition of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief’s Staff Oleksandr Volodymyrovych Potiy — head of the State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine," stated the decree.
Let us recall, the Cabinet of Ministers appointed Oleksandr Potiy as the new head of the State Service of Special Communications on November 15.
At the same time, the government dismissed Yuriy Myronenko from the position of head of the State Service of Special Communications.
Potiy has over 25 years of experience serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He dealt with security issues in communications and information technologies.
Additionally, Potiy is a Doctor of Technical Sciences and a professor. He has made significant contributions to the development of scientific research.
Since 2020, he has held the position of Deputy Head of the State Service of Special Communications.
