At the administrative border of the Kherson region and the temporarily Russian-occupied Crimea, the enemies have created numerous fortifications. The aggressor is thus preparing to meet the Ukrainian Defence Forces in case they break through to the peninsula from the north.
This was reported by the Telegram channel of the "Atesh" partisan movement.
It is noted that members of the underground conducted detailed reconnaissance of the fortifications and defences near the occupied Krasnoperekopsk.
"From the city along the canal, literally every 15 meters, the Russians have placed a huge number of dugouts, observation posts, and wood supplies in anticipation of a breakthrough by the Ukrainian Armed Forces," the movement reported.
The partisans added that a detailed map indicating the locations of personnel, equipment, weapons, and each enemy fortification has already been passed on to Ukrainian defenders.
"The strike, as always, will come from where no one expects it," they note in "Atesh".
Photos of the Russian invaders’ fortifications, built near Krasnoperekopsk, were also released.
