The Parliament adopted the draft law in the first reading.
This will provide an opportunity for all Ukrainians and their descendants from different countries around the world to have Ukrainian citizenship, which is especially important for those who were forced to leave Ukraine due to various waves of emigration.
The provision will not apply to Russian Federation citizenship.
