Putin cynically compared the war to a "movement": he is getting bored

Russian leader Vladimir Putin bluntly expressed his views on global events and, in particular, on the war in Ukraine. He does not like it when everything is calm; he desires "a storm".

This became known from his speech at the press conference summarizing the year 2024. According to Putin, Russia feels uncomfortable when peace prevails in the world.

Speaking about global events and the war in Ukraine, Putin noted that Russia does not value peace and stability. On the contrary, the country needs "movement" with the use of weapons. Without it, they become bored.

When everything is calm, stable, and measured for us, we become bored. Stagnation. We want "movement". As soon as the "movement" begins, everything around becomes agitated. And even bullets are whistling. Unfortunately, bullets are everywhere now. It frightens us, but not to the point of horror,– Putin stated.
