In Ukraine, a progressive scale of personal income taxation will be introduced, - Hetmantsev

After the end of the war, the authorities will introduce a progressive income tax system for citizens, announced the head of the parliamentary committee on financial issues, Danylo Hetmantsev.

"And part of this system will be above 18%, and part — below. I believe this is an absolutely correct decision, and we are already ready for it," – said the head of the committee in an interview with Ukrainian media.

At the same time, Hetmantsev refutes that after the war, the recently increased military tax rate from 1.5% to 5% will be maintained. He stated that it, as specified in the law, will only be in effect until the end of martial law.
