Since the beginning of the day, 179 combat engagements have been recorded at the front. Battles are still ongoing in several directions, most notably in the Kurakhove, Pokrovsk, and Vremivka directions, as well as in Russia’s Kursk region.

The communities of Chernihiv, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions have been affected by Russian mortar and artillery fire today, specifically: Hirsk, Khrinivka, Pokrovka, Porozok, Maiske, Slavgorod, Vidrodzhenivske, Tymofiivka, Oleksandrivka, and Ponomarenky.
In the Kharkiv direction, Russian forces attacked Ukrainian positions four times in the areas of Vovchansk and Vysoka Yaruha.
In the Kupyansk direction, the invaders attacked the Defence Forces 19 times in the areas of Petropavlivka, Kolisnykivka, Zahrizove, and Lozova. Eight skirmishes are still ongoing.
In the Lyman direction, during the day, the Russian army attacked Ukrainian positions 18 times near Druzhliubivka, Zelenyi Hai, Novoyehorivka, Makiivka, Terny, and Torske, as well as in the direction of Hryhorivka. Seven skirmishes are still ongoing.
"Ukrainian warriors are steadfastly holding the defense and inflicting losses on the enemy," informed the General Staff.
In the Siversk direction, near Bilohorivka, the invaders attempted once to break through to the Defence Forces’ positions.
In the Kramatorsk direction, since the beginning of the day, Ukrainian defenders repelled five enemy attacks in the Chasiv Yar area.
In the Toretsk direction, Russian forces attempted 11 times to advance on Ukrainian positions near Toretsk, Druzhba, and Dachne, and the battle is ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the Russian army made 45 attempts to push the Defense Forces from their positions in the areas of Vozdvyzhenka, Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Novyi Trud, Dakhenski, Shevchenko, Vovkove, and Novovasylivka. The Defense Forces are holding off the assault: 32 attacks have already been repelled, and 13 skirmishes are ongoing.
In the Kurakhove direction, the invaders attacked 25 times towards Petropavlivka, Shevchenko, and in the Kurakhove area. Fifteen of their attempts to advance have already been repelled.
In the Vremivka direction, nine enemy attacks are ongoing. Throughout the day, Ukrainian defenders have already repelled 11 Russian assaults in the areas of Uspenivka, Yantarnyi, Konstyantynopilsky, Konstyantynopol, Rozliv, Rozdolne, Novyi Komar, Novosilka, Velyka Novosilka, and Storozhove.
Russian forces dropped guided aviation bombs on Temyrivka and Zelenyi Polye.
In the Prydniprovskyi direction, Russian forces made one unsuccessful attempt to assault Defense Forces’ positions.
In the Kursk region, Ukrainian defenders repelled 20 attacks by the Russian army, ten skirmishes are ongoing.
In other directions, there have been no significant changes.
