The border guards on the frontline demonstrated how they celebrate Christmas Eve

The fighters of the State Border Guard Service, who continue to resist the Russian aggressor on the front line, demonstrated their celebration of Christmas Eve. Our defenders gathered inside a shelter around a traditional Ukrainian table with kutia and some other dishes.

The press service of the State Border Guard Service published a photo report on the evening of Tuesday, December 24. The agency shared the images on Telegram channel and other social networks.

"This Christmas Eve, we are not at home. But our hearts are where prayers are said at the Christmas table, and where the warmth of family embraces prevails," the post reads.

The State Border Guard Service hopes that next year they will be able to gather with their families, that the kutya will have the "taste of peace and tranquility, and carols will sound especially solemnly."

"May the Christmas star illuminate the way home for everyone far from their loved ones this evening. May every prayer be heard and every wish come true," the border guards wished.
