The city of Kalush in the Ivano-Frankivsk region was left without heat and water on December 25. The region was shelled during a massive attack by Russia on Ukraine.
This was reported on Facebook by the city’s mayor, Andriy Nayda.
"The alarm has recently ended. Fortunately, relatively, it is more or less calm in our community. However, there are massive disruptions in power supply, recently there was no supply throughout the community," he said.
According to the mayor, due to this, they had to switch to generators, especially concerning healthcare facilities, hospitals.
"Currently, the treatment facilities, booster pump remain without power. Until the treatment facilities are launched, we cannot supply water. I hope this situation will be resolved soon. Then, we will be able to start heating," Nayda added.
