Russian airstrikes on Zolochiv in Kharkiv region: a 64-year-old man was killed, a woman was injured


On December 26, 2024, Russian forces launched an airstrike on the village of Zolochiv in the Bohodukhiv District of Kharkiv Oblast. As a result of the guided aerial bomb explosion, three private houses were destroyed and seven more were damaged. A 64-year-old man was killed, and a 52-year-old woman was injured. Rescuers from the State Emergency Service retrieved the deceased’s body from the rubble.

This was a repeat airstrike on Zolochiv on the same day. Earlier, around 1:50 PM, two guided aerial bombs hit the village, damaging six private houses and a civilian infrastructure facility. At 2:05 PM, another attack occurred, causing further destruction and casualties.

In total, throughout the day, the Russian aggressor launched three series of strikes on Zolochiv, resulting in the death of a 64-year-old man and injuries to a 52-year-old woman.
