The Armed Forces of Ukraine struck a concentration of occupiers in the Kursk region


Footage from surveillance cameras in the town of Lgov, Kursk region, captured approximately five bright flashes at the point of impact. The local governor assured that nothing special happened.

In the evening of December 30, an air raid alert was declared in the Kursk region due to the threat of attacks by Ukrainian drones and missiles. After this, reports appeared online about the operation of air defence systems over Kursk. In addition, videos appeared from the town of Lgov, where large-scale strike actions could have taken place. Governor Aleksandr Khinstein assured that nothing extraordinary happened. At the same time, Oleksandr Kovalenko, head of the Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD) under the NSDC, confirmed the strike on an object in Russian territory on his Telegram channel.

According to Kovalenko, a strike was carried out on a "concentration of Russian military personnel" in the town of Lgov. He did not report how the strike was carried out. The nature of the target and the scale of the losses for the Russian Armed Forces were also not disclosed.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine did not comment on the events that took place in the town of Lgov, Kursk region. There is also silence about the events from the Russian Ministry of Defence.
